Community Resource &
Reporting Center (CRRC)
FY2025–2026 Program Data Summary
Summary of Findings
-
CRRC serves a high-need, high-risk population of Alexandria youth—most with court involvement, mental health needs, and unstable home environments.
-
Half (50%) are former Sheltercare youth, confirming CRRC’s critical role in continuity of care and community-based stabilization.
-
Despite significant barriers, 100% of participants remain in school and engaged, demonstrating program success in promoting structure and accountability.
-
The data strongly supports continued and expanded funding to maintain low staff-to-youth ratios, therapeutic supports, and evidence-based programming designed to reduce recidivism and promote long-term positive outcomes.
What the Kids Say

"CRRC provides everything you need — food, free transportation, school supplies, personal care items like shampoo, conditioner, and deodorant — and most importantly, a supportive environment."
"CRRC also gives us the chance to participate in fun activities and field trips such as ice skating and visiting museums.... Every activity is a new memory and experience that helps us grow. The CRRC Program feels like a home where all staff welcome you with care, encouragement, and love. Every youth should have the opportunity to experience this program — it truly provides the support we all need.”
